Job Description

Jackson Hogg is delighted to be representing a leading global innovator and manufacturer of fluid and gas handling high pressure equipment and they are on the look for a dynamic compliance engineer with experience of working with live customer focused projects.The role includes:

  • Support Engineering Design for PED/ASME/ATEX/LVD/MD etc.
  • Support manufacturing on new product introduction and sustaining engineering w.r.t. compliance
  • Experience with gas compressor systems
  • Working knowledge of PED, CRN, ASMEB31.1 and B31.3 and other pressure safety standards
  • Knowledge of castings, moldings and machined parts.
  • Knowledge of Hazardous Location, NEMA, IP ratings.
  • Knowledge of design of Flameproof and Explosion proof instruments.
  • Ensure assets comply with Machine guarding and functional safety requirements through our management of change process
  • Lead management of change process for asset related changes from standard
  • Experience within a similar engineering/manufacturing/FMCG environment
Skills required:
  • Must have an appropriate Engineering Related qualification HNC/Degree.
  • Take reasonable care of the health and safety of themselves and of others who may be affected by what they do or do not do.
  • Cooperate with the employer on health and safety matters.
  • Not misuse any equipment that is provided for safety purposes.
  • Awareness of working in a hazardous environment.
  • Follow instructions from the employer on health and safety matters and attend relevant health and safety training - Report hazards and defects observed in the workplace.
  • Comply with the company Code of Ethics and standards.
