Job Description

WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCEEffectively handle customers who are suffering from Financial Hardship, from early arrears to where a specialist approach to dealing with their situation or possession is required. Use a case management approach, where required, applying a combination of tools to achieve an appropriate outcome for the customer using the decision trees and agreed mandates in line with client policy.Job Role:

  • To establish and maintain inbound and outbound contact with customers and implement appropriate
  • forbearance solutions to address the mortgage arrears through use of decision trees and checklists
  • To identify customers who would benefit from receiving debt advice
  • To manage cases effectively through either the mortgage litigation, possession or LPA Receivership
  • processes in order to minimise any potential loss
  • To handle litigation or possession cases including deceased, vulnerable, assisted/shortfall sale,
  • abandoned and voluntary surrender cases
  • To liaise with third parties and internal stakeholders to agree the most effective course of action individual cases and provide constructive feedback on the options and advice put forward by them.
  • Ensure appropriate mandates are applied in decision making in relation to arrangements, litigation receivership related activity and loan modification decision.
  • Ability to respond to customer correspondence
  • Provide training and buddying support as and when required within team, training academy and
  • development centre
  • Provide feedback and coaching, training on tasks to peers, ensure any changes are made aware to
  • peers
  • Support adhoc audit findings and act on feedback with a view to developing skills
  • Key Skills:
  • Ability to take ownership and manage own work through to conclusion, escalating issues as appropriate
  • Basic knowledge of litigation and loss mitigation methods
  • Knowledge of debt advice and third party support desirable
  • Flexibility in approach to workloads
  • Ability to effectively communicate within own team and at Team/Senior Levels
  • Knowledge of Operational systems, Word and Excel
  • An ability to understand own role within the end to end process chain and impact of isolated
  • decision making
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships in order to deliver departmental and group goals
  • Able to identify opportunities for process and performance improvement at a personal, team, unit level.
  • Hours of Work - Working from Home - Monday to Friday between 8.00am-8:30pm. You will required to work Saturdays or Sundays on a rota basisLaptop and Equipment Provided Pay - £8.82 per hourTemporary 6 Month Contract (possibility of been extended)Immediate Start Dates.
