Job Description

Location: Remote working – must be within 1 hour commute of SR3, Sunderland or BD16, BingleyPay rate - £9.34/hour- 40 hours per week, fully flexibleWe are looking for individuals with the drive to succeed and proven ability to deliver an excellent level of customer service. We want you if you are not afraid to have difficult conversations with our customers and talk to them about their finances. We will give you the tools to be able to do thiseffectively and support our customers. In return, we ask that you are adaptable, have a flexible approach and the drive to deliver on your targets in a fast moving and excitable environment.The role involves and is not limited to:

  • Having meaningful conversations with customers and third parties to understand circumstances and look at best course of action
  • Implement appropriate forbearance solutions to address the mortgage arrears
  • Manage cases through appropriate processes to minimise any potential loss
  • Liaise with customers, third parties and internal stakeholders to ensure the correct and most effective course of action is implemented
    • Skills required:
  • Previous experience working within a Customer Service telephony role is ideal
  • Experience of Credit/Debt Management would be advantageous
  • Competent in use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience working within Financial Services would be of advantage
  • Ability to adhere to strict governance, process and policy
  • Quality driven with excellent attention to detail
    • Working Pattern: A fully flexible contract requires availability for 40hours per week between8.00am & 8.00pm Monday to Friday and 9.00am-2.00pm Saturday.Month end requires flexibility as hours may be extended to;9.00am-4.00pm Saturday10.00am-3.00pm Sunday10.00am-3.00pm Bank holidaysThe role is home working and equipmwent will be provided but you need to live within 1 hour distance so you are commutable to the officeCordant People is an equal opportunities Employer
