CNC Machinist. CDS Recruitment Ltd have a fantastic manufacturing client that are rapidly expanding due to successes across the UK. A new machine shop has been opened up and they require timeserved CNC Machinist to join the company. Location (Houghton-Le-Spring) Salary is £20 per hour (umbrella) or £16.15 (PAYE) Possible permanent opportunities. THE ROLE: Manufacture from engineering drawings To set and run milling machines ensuring maximum productivity in a bespoke machining environment Write and check programs for Hurco Winmax or Heidenhain To self-inspect your own parts using manual measuring equipment THE CANDIDATE Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Machining experience of both setting and operating Adherence to tight tolerances and high standards - microns Ability to prepare offline programs would be an advantage Flexible to work double day shift QUALIFICATIONS Read and interpret 2D and 3D Engineering drawings CNC Machine Programming Minimum of 5 years experience CNC Milling
