Support Worker and Senior Support Workers Positions Available£32000 for residential support workers£37000 for senior support positionsLive-in (2 days on then 4 off every rota)This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join a Residential Home for Children and Young People within the Cumbria area. Because of the unique rota, I have put candidates in these roles from all around the north as you get allof your hours done in two days.Working for a specialist provider of care to Children and Young People in residential based settings, this is a leading organisation known for their innovation with vulnerable looked after children. Their philosophy is to support young individuals from allbackgrounds and to provide them with a reliable home and educational environment with the required support to live meaningful and valued lives within the local community.As the Senior Residential Support Worker, you will be supporting Young People within 4 single occupancy residential homes for young people with who may present challenging behaviours due to adverse traumatic backgrounds.Your main duties are to manage a shift, delivering care within a residential home, motivate your team and support the Deputy and Registered Managers to fulfil the homes statement of purpose. In addition, you will provide emotional, therapeutic and behaviouralsupport.You will be a naturally caring and compassionate person with a true passion and patience for helping others in times of crisis. You will be required to hold a full UK Driving Licence, hold a level 3 in Children and Young people or equivalent, experience andunderstanding in a similar setting is essential.
