The Role of a Change Manager EDF Renewables UK (EDF RUK) is one of the UKs leading renewable energy companies, specialising in wind power, solar and battery storage technology. In line with our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for high calibre professionals to join our team tobe part of the energy for change. EDF RUK develops, builds, operates, and maintains wind farms and other renewable technologies throughout their lifetime. The EDF RUK portfolio of nearly 1,000 MW consists of 36 wind farmsincluding two offshore wind farmsand one of the largest operationalbattery storage units in Europe. In addition, EDF RUK is seeking to deliver further growth from its own development pipeline or though securing new acquisitions of projects and has more than 4GW consented, in planning and development. We have been successfulin expanding our portfolio into Ireland securing solar, offshore, and onshore wind opportunities. As Change Manager you will work closely with Programme and Project Managers to initiate, plan and execute change strategies effectively, driving internal user satisfaction and ensuring successful change management is delivered on assigned projects. Key Responsibilities Develop a clear understanding of the case for change and benefits, and the realisation of these benefits Assessing the change, business impacts and business readiness, identifying and managing implementation strategies, risks, and opportunities, that transform business-as-usual from status quo to new way of working Preparing the business for the change, owning and consulting with colleagues at all levels on any people and cultural impacts, developing ongoing trusting working relationships Undertake the development of business change strategies and business change planning (in conjunction with project owners) in line with the programme delivery plan Work closely with Project and Programme Managers to support the development of process changes as required and implement lasting change Working closely with other key support departments including, Testing & Release Management, Learning and Internal Communications to ensure specialist services are utilised Where necessary develop and deliver appropriate training, cascade, and support material to accompany changes, develop appropriate skill levels and ensure business change is effectively embedded Establish the most appropriate mechanisms and methods to be used to support the roll-out of changes Baseline, measure and lead the realisation of business change benefits Managing effective change communication with customer at working, management, and senior levels Perform detailed stakeholder identification and analysis, and develop a clear understanding of the change from stakeholder perspectives Implementing stakeholder management, ensuring that appropriate stakeholders are engaged and consulted in a timely fashion. Management of business change documentation and reporting Source and provide best practice and industry standard examples of business change management and guidance as required Skills & Experience: Experience of working on business change projects with the ability to manage complex projects across a multi-directorate organisation You will have a demonstrable experience as a change manager, ideally with a recognised certification in change management (e.g. APMG, Prosci or similar) Change management & business transformation experience is essential - you will be act as the focal point for change, whilst effectively collaborating on projects assigned Demonstrable experience in a Continuous Improvement / Operational Excellence role Working with diverse sets of stakeholders to agree solutions that meet a range of business demands Proven track record in delivering workshops and other change management techniques, readily adopting new ways of working and technology innovation Understanding of various project management frameworks and methodologies Previous PMO / Project Management experience essential
