Job Description

Role: Customer Service Agent Location: SunderlandSalary: £22,890 (including a shift allowance of £2,500)Full Time shifts, our opening hours 8am-10pm Monday-Friday; 8am-6pm Saturday & 9am-5pm on Sunday.This role will be a hybrid split between working on site and from home (after training)For the first three months, successful candidates will be working on site, to support the skills you have developed within induction training.Our well-established and growing client are a huge insurance provider offering a range of motor, home and life insurance products to three million customers in the UK. They are committed to delivering exceptional service to several of the best knownbrands in the UK as well as our own brands, all while supported by state of the art, award-winning contact centres and market leading digital platforms.What will I do as a Customer Service Advisor

  • Take inbound calls from potential and existing customers, dealing with car, van and home insurance queries.
  • Maintain high standards for our own and partnership brands
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to every customer first time, every time
  • Take responsibility for our customers and provide resolutions
  • Take ownership for your development within the business
  • Be determined to succeed and accountable for results, for yourself and the business
  • Act with drive, pace and passion
  • Follow system and procedural processes to ensure compliance with the FCA
What does it take to be a Customer Service AdvisorIt doesnt matter if youve never worked in a contact centre or within an insurance environment before, we will provide you with a comprehensive training programme, all we ask is for the following
  • Ideally six months experience working within a customer service environment, this could be from a variety of backgrounds including retail, contact centre and hospitality (face to face, by phone or in written form)
  • A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate responsibility for customer concerns and resolution
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Proven record for setting own goals and monitoring own performance
