As part of their ongoing commitment to enhancing the campus experience, they are embarking on a comprehensive CampusMasterplan to further develop their facilities, infrastructure, and overall campus landscapeBuilding Surveyor – The Role:They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Surveyor to join their team and play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of the Campus Masterplan developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing existingstructures, providing expert advice on construction projects, and ensuring that all developments align with industry standards and the universitys visionBuilding Surveyor – Key Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed building surveys to assess the condition of existing structures and identify necessary maintenance or improvement measures- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure that proposed developments align with the Campus Masterplan and meet regulatory requirements- Provide expert advice on building regulations, codes, and standards to ensure compliance throughout the planning and construction phases- Review and approve project designs, specifications, and construction methodologies to guarantee the integrity and longevity of the universitys infrastructure- Oversee the implementation of building conservation and preservation initiatives within the campus- Prepare and maintain accurate records of building survey reports, project documentation, and relevant correspondence- Work closely with university stakeholders to address concerns, answer inquiries, and provide regular updates on project progressBuilding Surveyor – You:- Bachelors degree in Building Surveying, Architecture, or a related field.
