Job Description

The ability to manage the security team in providing an efficient, flexible and motivated team is pivotal to the success of this role.We are seeking a Building Manager/Concierge with excellent planning, organisational and commercial skills together with experience to recognise opportunities. Job purpose: The overall management control of the sites security operation ensuring our clients security requirements are met and fulfilled to a high standard and the management of the Security Team and sites procedures ensuring the retention of the contract for CorpsSecurity. Role requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • Previous Security Management experience.
  • A frontline Security Industry Authority (SIA) Licence is required for the role.
  • Intermediate level PC Skills (MS Office)
  • 5 year checkable work/career history. All applicants will be vetted in line with industry standardsBS7858
Duties include:
  • Liaise on a daily basis with staff and the client and operational management teams
  • Support the fulfilment of the contracted/business objectives
  • Contribute as a team member to ensure a positive customer experience for all visitors/customers
  • Ensure safety of customers and all staff
  • Act as a main keyholder to lock and unlock the building
  • Issue access cards and keys to new tenants
  • Complete inspections of the building to ensure compliance is upheld
  • Carry out weekly fire alarm test and refuge point checks
  • Carry out monthly emergency lighting checks
  • Handle all maintenance and repairs efficiently and quickly and liaise with contractors where necessary
  • Arrange quarterly, half yearly, annual safety checks & service maintenance for water hygiene, fire alarms, dry risers, air conditioning and lifts
  • Oversee contracted cleaning staff and general maintenance
  • Handle post and courier deliveries for all tenants
  • Report incidents/repairs to Landlord Property Manager
