Job Description

Our client is an accredited asbestos consultancy who have been operating within the asbestos industry for over 13 years who provide a national coverage and supply our clients with a wide range of surveying, analytical and consultancy services. They are currently seeking an experienced Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to join our expanding Sunderland based team.If successful for the role you will be subject to regular drug and alcohol testing and will be asked to complete a DBS check.Main Duties and Responsibilities: -

  • Undertaking Asbestos Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys, nationally across domestic, commercial and industrial premises.
  • Carrying out Four Stage Clearances and Reassurance, Background, Leak, Smoke and Personal Air Monitoring.
  • Completing risk assessments.
  • Ensuring all site documentation is completed in full and to a high standard.
  • Developing strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Participation in RICE and monthly Quality Control Counts
  • Report checking
  • Skills and Experience Required
  • BOHSP402, P403 & P404 certificates
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in both surveying and air monitoring
  • Strong working knowledge of current legislation, HSE guidance and UKAS standards
  • Professional and courteous approach when dealing with clients, tenants and members of the general public.
  • Full clean UK Drivers Licence (vehicle provided)
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work away on a regular basis (accommodation is provided)
  • Ability to work at weekends (when required)

  • Proactive approach to your own professional development
  • IT literate - Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
