Job Description

CK Group are recruiting for an Accuracy Checking Technician to join a pharmaceutical company based in Sunderland on a permanent full-time basis. The Company: Our client is an MHRA Approved and NHS Accredited manufacturing facility. Your main duties will be to:

  • Dispensing medication for patients safely and in accordance with regulations and company SOPs.
  • Disposal of returned medication.
  • Ordering medication into the dispensary and managing correct stock rotation to minimise waste.
  • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure we provide the best service to our patients.
  • Managing controlled drugs from point of ordering to despatch.
  • Perform the final accuracy check on medications before they’re dispatched to patients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
To be considered for this role, you will have the following skills and experience:Required experience:
  • An accuracy Checking Technician Qualification through a verified training provider.
Desired experience:
  • Experience of working in a busy dispensary environment.
  • Knowledge of CBPMs/Unlicensed medications.
  • Worked in a busy dispensary environment checking high volumes of prescriptions.
