Mains Duties: Processing Accounts Payable invoices Reconciliation of the intercompany accounts on a monthly basis in close relationshipwith other Group subsidiaries Contact for all AP enquiries Import and analysis Accounts Receivable Invoices General Ledger Account reconciliation and clearing Balance Sheet reconciliations monthly Journal Processing Assistance with month end processing and general ledger entries Assistance with VAT reconciliation and Submission Scanning of all purchase invoices and sales invoices Data entry and processingAny other ad hoc duties required to assist the Chief Accountant as and when required.To perform their duties the Accounts Assistant has to establish close relationship with: The various departments of the local plant in Sunderland - Logistics and Procurementare key to this are and strong business partnering relationships are required.
