Job Description

Account ManagerSalary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE with realistic 50% OTELocation: Hybrid Working (Sunderland HQ)My client is a rapidly growing organisation offering business consulting services to the global business community. As part of their exciting growth plans, they are recruiting for an Account Manager to support their increasing client portfolio, ensuringcustomers get the most out of the services provided and spotting new revenue opportunities.The Role

  • Build and maintain existing B2B customer relationships in order to successfully retain accounts and realise upsell opportunities
  • Day-to-day activity will involve making contact with customers in a structured manner, progressing opportunities as they present
  • Consultatively build relationships with customers
  • Uncover client’s business challenges and identify relevant business opportunities
  • Efficiently and effectively process assigned opportunities into sales
  • Manage your own pipeline and all work activities, maintaining accurate information and up-to-date forecasts on all prospects
  • Achieve sales targets for renewals and upsell
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
The Person
  • Demonstrable pedigree in B2B account management
  • Ideally from a business consulting/services, software or tech background
  • Experience of using a consultative, solution-based methodology when engaging with your portfolio of clients
  • Ability to develop trust and relationships with prospects, customers and colleagues
  • Excellent telephone and online presentation skills
  • Strong desire to be part of a team that delivers our customers breakthrough results
  • Ambitious to develop their career further within the organisation
