Job Description

3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer - Office 365 - £45,000 per annumSpring Technology are currently working in partnership with a leading FTSE 250 client to recruit an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Office 365 solutions such as Azure Active Directory, Intune etc.The RoleWorking within the IT Operations division you will report into the Infrastructure Manager and bring expertise in Office 365 providing first class 3rd line, ITIL aligned support and project work while also helping shape strategy. The Responsibilities*3rd line support of Office 365*Design architecture with Microsoft messaging and cloud technologies that meet technical, security, and business needs for apps/workloads. Office 365 and Exchange enterprise migrations, Intune, Azure Identity lifecycle management, AIP etc.*Provide input to the Enterprise Office 365 strategies and the platform roadmap and deliver Governance for various Office 365 applications, such as data retention.*Support the delivery of large scale End User Computer and Delivery programs across the various EUC technologies such as Mobility, Office365, SBO, Teams, and Identity Management.*Create and maintain detailed documentation of Office 365 processes and procedures and empower IT Operations team to support Office 365 applications.*Represent the Office 365 platform in Change, Problem, and Incident Management and act as a liaison on strategic projects as assigned, as well as perform capacity management.*Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for End User Computing and Mobility solutions and technologies, keeping current with industry trends and emerging technologies*Develop and maintain technology roadmaps to ensure solutions remain leading edge in terms of functionality, security, performance and availability.*Delivery of 3rd line operational support for IT services including on-call cover for our 24/7 business*Plan and execute changes in accordance with Service Delivery Management and Change Management policies and processes*Identify training needs and opportunities to ensure the organisation is able to effectively manage and utilise technologies*Documenting procedures, processes and high and low level designs *Research and keep up-to-date with current and emerging technologies,*Work collaboratively with support teams/colleagues, suppliers and group to deliver technical solutions per business requirementsThe Requirements*3rd line support of Office 365 including *Migrations from on-prem/tenants*Experience in designing, managing and maintaining InTune*Scripting and automating tasks with Powershell, Flow, LogicApps, etc.*Management and support of Exchange Online*Support and administration of Microsoft Azure Active Directory including AD synchronization (AD connect)*Identity management from multiple AD Sources*Office 365 Security, Compliance and Protection (DLP, e-discovery, Encryption, Labels, Sensitivity Policies, Azure etc.)*Manage Office 365 Groups / Teams using automation / scripting*Advanced Security including Intune, Conditional Access, AIP, ATP*Knowledge of the authentication methods.
