Do you want to make a difference and change lives Are you a proactive, enthusiastic, and engaging individual If so, we want to hear from you today!Prospero Teaching are working with a fantastic Primary School in Sunderland (SR6) who are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in EYFS on a 1:1 basis. The pupil has Downs Syndrome. A key part of the role,therefore, will be for the successful candidate to show resilience and excellent relationship-building skills to build a positive rapport with the pupil.The role is full-time, Monday to Friday. For the right candidate, there is the strong possibility of the role becoming permanent. The hours of work for the role will be 08.30-15.30. The role will involve supporting the pupil with their learning and communicating effectively with Class Teachers to ensure appropriate strategies are used that are suited to the individual needs and learning styles of the pupil to allow them to engage withtheir learning and make excellent progress.
