Job Description

Service Delivery Manager - Owner - SAP - Middle Office Applications. Circa £60K + 25% Bonus + £1.5k. Flexible working - 2 days onsite - 3 days at home. Permanent. Middlesex. T6/MN/18133.Our global client is seeking to secure a Service Delivery Manager - Owner - Middle Office Applications - the role will focus on Service Delivery across SAP - Planning, Manufacturing & Logistics. Applicants must have a solid understanding of SAP Planning, Manufacturing& Logistics - this is key. Responsibilities:

  • Owns all Service Delivery for application-based services across SAP - Planning, Manufacturing & Logistics.
  • Solid technical understanding of - SAP - Planning, Manufacturing & Logistics.
  • Will work in collaboration with Business Solutions, Architecture, Security, Data Office & Service Management teams.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the services - ensure downtime is minimised for the business. Representing Group Technology, whilst also being an advocate on behalf of the business.
  • Builds & maintains a complete understanding of the end-to-end service - design through to components, service providers, interfaces, service levels and processes.
  • Manages the risks & compliance for the service across SAP - Planning, Manufacturing & Logistics.
  • Owns and executes Demand & Capacity Management for the service.
  • Works collaboratively with other members of the Service Owner team.
Technical Skills & Experience Required:
  • SAP - Technical knowledge of - SAP Planning, Manufacturing & Logistics - this is key.
  • Service Delivery Management, or Service Ownership or Service Architect experience.
  • Highly developed Service Management skills - experience of Capacity and/or Demand Management.
  • Operated in Functional or Technical roles related to SAP.
  • ITIL Knowledge - ideally minimum ITIL Foundation certified.
  • Incident, Change, Problem and Event Management processes & concepts knowledge.
  • Prince2 & Agile knowledge.
  • Customer Service Background.
  • Broad understanding of the SAP Supply Chain product set.
  • 3rd Party Supplier Management - experience of managing and overseeing the delivery of IT Service / SAP Providers - managing incidents & assuring delivery to SLAs etc.
  • Matrix Management - at both an Engineering, Management & Senior Stakeholder level.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ideally have Pan-European Delivery experience.
