The SAP BW Finance Analyst will be working as part of a strategic finance teamto deliver on the SAP Business Warehouse project from a functional finance perspectiveSAP BW Finance Analyst Responsibilities:- Support all deployment activities within including the integrated delivery of the component. Work closely with the relevant project deployment teams to ensure compliance to design standards and data quality requirements- Assist in maintaining the deployment methodology and roadmap for new deployments anywhere in theGroup Reporting landscape- Perform the annual balance carry forward activities- Assist in updating the training materials for FBW. Perform on-going assessment of people skills; evaluate the knowledge, and capabilities requirements necessary to perform specific user roles within the FBW solution- Perform timely updates to the FBW training materials, including on-line self-serve capability offerings- Participate as needed in the on-going maintenance activities of the FBW learning environment- Update the UAT and regression test scripts for FBW. Assist in the performance of UAT and regression script execution activities associated with all project work managed under the direction of the team and also for any approved enhancements to the existing solutionSAP BW Finance Analyst Skills:0 Batchelors Degree, specialised training or equivalent work experience (i.e., 3 - 4 years experience in a senior Finance and Accounting positions and 2+ years experience with development of financial system functionality preferably as a team member of a large financial system development project- Accountancy qualification or working towards one (e.g. CIMA, CPA, ACA, ACCA)- Significant experience with SAP, BWs or other comparable financial systems- Relevant work experience within the Finance team of a business or relevant areas of the central Finance function.- Previous involvement in and experience of systems deployment activities, with an emphasis on data preparation / mapping and user training.- Knowledge of Segment MI, Group Reporting or Business Reporting processes- General understanding of systems deployment activities, with an emphasis on data preparation / mapping and user training.- Exposure to financial control processes within a business context- Experience with developing Financial System Training materials and delivering training- Knowledge of IFRS, SOx, with some understanding of other local statutory reporting requirements- Understanding of General Ledger system transactional processing- On the job exposure to SAP systems, R/3 level, BW and BCSPMP or equivalent project certificationBarclay Meade acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers and is part of Gattaca Plc.Gattaca Plc provides support services to Barclay Meade and may assist with processing your application.
