Job Description

EMEA Social Media SpecialistPermanent/ Full-timeSunbury-on-Thames£24-27K + Bonus + Benefits + Travel AllowanceKerr Recruitment is operating on behalf of our client, international leading IT company. Our client is seeking to appoint an EMEA Social Media Specialist who will be responsible for EMEA Social Media channels strategy, content, activity, listening, monitoring, managing agencies and reporting across multiple platforms and languages in EMEA.Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm, 8.30am to 3.30pm on Friday. Additional hours may be requiredMain Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the continual development and growth of Social Media Platforms both global and local EMEA channels.
  • Developing content ideas based on current industry news and identified trends.
  • Ensuring all channels are focussed on growing a community of engaged followers.
  • Constantly reviewing channels and posts to analyse results to direct future strategies.
  • Day-to-day content posting across multiple channels including the selective boosting of posts (especially for geo-located content.)
  • Working collaboratively with wider team to ensure organic social aligns with current activities for talent content creation, coverage, partner exclusive launches and posting from agreed events across EMEA for all relevant channels.
  • Implementing and managing new and updated platform features, functions and best practice across all social channels in conjunction with FV Social Media team.
  • Utilising approved tools to monitor, respond to or escalate comments, direct messages and questions from all Social Media platforms as necessary.
  • Maintaining relationships with contracted third party content posters, content generators, sub-admins or appointed agencies to ensure a continual flow of relevant and engaging content for local language platforms, sub pages and child pages.
  • Working with the EMEA Social Media Manager and FV colleagues to set achievable goals and targets for Social in EMEA, regularly report against these targets.
  • Ensuring you are up to date with Social Media trends and best practice by attending relevant industry events, workshops and seminars.
  • Ideal Candidate Would Have
  • Fluent in English is a must
  • A second European language would be a plus, preferably German, French or Arabic
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working in a social media role either agency or in-house.
  • Previous experience working with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube.
  • With deep understanding of social media marketing and targeting / building audiences, social media tools and best practices.
  • Deep understanding of the eSports and gaming world, and the associated community
  • High degree of competence using standard PC productivity applications.
