EMEA Social Media ExecutiveLocation: Sunbury on ThamesSalary: £24,000 - £27,000 + bonus + benefitsWorking Hours: 38.5 hours (Monday to Thursday 08:30 to 17:30 Friday 08:30 - 15:30) Additional hours as required for event & activity attendance, business travel and regular conference calls with U.S. based HQ My exciting client based in Sunbury on Thames is currently recruiting for a Social Media Executive to join their growing team. You will be working with the PR & Social Media Manager and be responsible for a popular brands English speaking and local EMEA Social Media channels strategy, content, activity, listening, monitoring, managing agencies and reporting across multiple platforms and languages in EMEA.Essential Functions: Be responsible for the continual development and growth of Social Media Platforms both global and local EMEA channelsOwn the Asana content calendarDevelop content ideas based on current industry news and identified trendsEnsure all channels are focussed on growing a community of engaged followersConstantly review channels and posts to analyse results to direct future strategiesCreate monthly and quarterly reports with weekly highlights for internal stakeholders when necessaryDay-to-day content posting across multiple channels including the selective boosting of posts (especially for geo-located content)Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure organic social aligns with current activities for talent content creation, coverage, game launches, partner exclusive launches and posting from agreed events across EMEA for all relevant channelsBe responsible for implementing new and updated platform features, functions and best practice across all social channelsUtilise approved tools to monitor, respond to or escalate comments, direct messages and questions from all Social Media platforms as necessaryLiaise with the EMEA Content team for all requests for the creation of graphics and other content to support the Social Media calendar as requiredIn conjunction with other teams be aware of and help coordinate any Partner advertising execution (Paid Social)Maintain relationships with contracted third party content posters, content generators, sub-admins or appointed agencies to ensure a continual flow of relevant and engaging content for local language platforms, subpages and child pagesWork with the EMEA Social Media Manager to set achievable goals and targets for Social in EMEA, regularly report against these targetsEnsure you are up to date with Social Media trends and best practice by attending relevant industry events, workshops and seminarsPerson Specification:Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a social media role either agency or in-houseExperience working with Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTubeDeep understanding of social media marketing and targeting / building audiences, social media tools and best practicesAwareness of esports and the wider gaming industryIdeally have knowledge of an additional European languageDriven and diplomatic, structured and organizedStrong research and analytical skillsPro-active, responsive, adaptable, and willing to take ownershipAbility to understand and become familiar with new concepts very quicklyStrong communication & presentation skills
