Job Description

Expo Technologies, a leading anti-hazardous electrical manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Electrical Fitter to join our team in Sunbury on Thames. We have been in the business for over 60 years and work with end-users, integrators, and OEMs acrossa wide range of industries.This role is not intended to be exhaustive and it is a good opportunity to associate yourself with a renowned company like ours.About UsWith more than 60 years experience, we help you navigate the complex world of hazardous area electrical protection, identifying simple, robust, certified solutions that save time and cost. We serve many industries such as oil & gas, chemical & petrochemical,pharmaceutical & biotechnology, and power generation.Key Responsibilities:

  • To assemble and test the companys range of electrical, and electromechanical products in accordance with drawings procedures and work instructions
  • To assist with maintaining and organising the production work area
  • To handle materials and kits in accordance with instructions
  • To assist with packing labelling and despatch of materials as directed
  • To record changes required to drawings or parts list to enable production information to be corrected and maintained accurately
  • Assist in other areas of the company such as Assembly when workload is low, as directed by Production Manager
  • Train other members of staff, as required
  • Maintain your work area in line with 5S
  • Support the company continuous improvement activities and data capture; participate and encourage idea generation
Required Experience:
  • 5 years experience with assembling electronic components
  • Proficient in Soldering
