Are you a qualified teacher of Music looking for a new temporary roleTradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a specialist Music teacher to join an outstanding grammar school in Trafford.This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role to cover a sickness absence from Monday 27th March until the end of April, potentially longer.The RoleTeacher of MusicFive days a week 8.30am to 3.30pmCovering the Head of Music until their return from sickness absence.Teaching understanding music, music composition and music performance and with a focus on innovative practical lessons.The academy are interested in hearing from Early Career Teachers, experienced QTS practitioners and further education music specialists with experience of teaching music to students aged 11 to 18.The SchoolOfsted Outstanding academy since 2011Excellent facilities for teaching and learning.Mixed selective grammar school for students aged 11 to 18"The curriculumis built on working harmoniously together. As such, we expect students to learn in an environment that is positive, productive and respectful. Our expectations of behaviour and attitudes of our students are exceptionally high, and weexpect, at all times, that students will learn with determination, and in a courteous manner"To join us and be successful in this Music Teacher role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS or equivalent Further education qualifications such as PGCE14+ or Certificate of Education
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work full time in the UK with no restrictions
