Job Description

Our company is a global leader in sterilisation and testing of products for the medical device, pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. As a results of new business developments, we are recruiting a Technical Assistant to join our Technical Team. The successful candidate will be assisting the Technical Team with QA and validation tasks as required.As the Technical Assistant, you will be responsible for;

  • Batch paperwork review and approval for sterilisation process
  • Assisting quality assurance team on day to day tasks as required
  • Assisting in in administration tasks and data analysis for internal or commercial validation projects
  • Performing Medical Device validation tests
  • Documenting validation tests results
  • General lab housekeeping
    • Essential skills and experience requiredTo be considered for this position, the successful candidate should;
  • Educated to a good general standard including English and Maths
  • Experience in following standard operating procedures and/or protocols
  • Proactive and well organised
  • be highly competent in Microsoft Office
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn new procedures and processes
    • Desirable skills and experience requiredIdeally the candidate would also possess some of the following skills;
  • experience of working in a microbiology lab, QC lab or a QA role
  • experience in statistical analysis of data and creation of trends
  • experience in working in the medical device sector or another highly regulated industry
    • Monday to Friday, 37.5 working hours Required skills
