Team Manager (Maintenance, Construction, Facilities)Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire £29,000 Permanent, 35 hours per week Excellent benefits including 29 days annual leave + bank holidaysOur client is looking for an organised and self-motivated individual ideally with experience in a facilities management / construction or maintenance environment to lead a multi-disciplined team to achieve set goals and objectives, in line with agreed financial targets.In this varied role, you’ll take the lead in the operational delivery and planning of contact work, maintaining costs against budgets and identifying opportunities for commercial development. With quality being at the forefront of our work, you will compete both post and pre inspections to ensure that we meet the highest standards and work with the team to highlight any areas that require additional attention. With experience of managing a team, you will monitor productivity and quality of work, ensuring that we adhere to compliance and regulations. You will know how to motivate your team and develop strong working relationships, recognising individual strengths and training requirements to establish an accomplished, productive team. You’ll provide key improvements to enhance the progression of young people into employment and give them the confidence to flourish.With experience of leading teams in facilities management/maintenance/improvement operation environment, you will understand the intricacies of P&L management and be accustomed to management budgets and resources including supporting tenders / bids and costing a variety of jobs. Commercially-astute, you will demonstrate experience of identifying business development opportunities and sustainable growth, leading to profitability.This isn’t just about managing people, it is about inspiring individuals and encouraging and supporting the social mobility of young people and their personal development.
