Job Description

An Operations Manager position has become available, giving the opportunity to work with one of our more established clients as they expand and develop their divisions.Working with other Managers within the business, the Operations Manager will support the overall logistics and supply of the company whilst working towards the companys overall future development.The Operations Manager will work closely with other departments to bridge the gaps between processes and ensure all existing policies are implemented and followed. The introduction of new policies will allow the Operations Manager to effectively support in the future growth of the company and business.

  • Liaise, develop and manage other departments through all managerial tasks - disciplines, training, grievances etc.
  • Ensure existing policies have been implemented and followed correctly whilst also ensuring new procedures are documented and implemented accordingly.
  • Review staff, workload, training requirements.
  • Support new starters with inductions and training of their role.
  • Review cost saving strategies to support future development and growth.
  • Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a similar role is essential.
  • Excellent leaderships qualities with a proven track record of leading, motivating and developing people.
  • Experience in implementing cost saving initiatives.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills who can investigate and find the root cause of production issues.
  • Experience in handling HR issues including disciplinary procedures/ performance management and staff development.
  • Planning skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proven record in improving overall performance/efficiencies whilst maintaining quality.
