Our client, who is an established and growing logistics business, are looking to recruit a commercially minded Key Account Manager based in Stoke on TrentClient DetailsOur client is an established logistics business with an international networkDescriptionRole ProfileOur client, who is an established and growing logistics business, are looking to recruit a commercially minded Key Account Manager to be based out of their site in Stoke. Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for managing key customerrelationships and identifying opportunities to improve service, maximise revenue and look for new value-added services to offer. The role is Monday to Friday typical office hours, with flexibility required in line with business needs.Key Responsibilities* Working closely in partnership with clients to understand and deliver their supply chain/ operational needs, and work with operations team to identify opportunities for mutual gain* Lead regular account reviews with client including KPI reports and service packs, commenting on any issues, challenges and continuous improvement initiatives* Support the senior operations team in ensuring KPIs and SLAs are being achieved on a day to day basis* Point of escalation for any issues client is having, and working with the operations team to resolve in an effective and timely manner* Drive service improvements by promoting, supporting and implementing site continuous improvement initiatives/ programs* Help promote a positive culture and attitude towards ensuring H&S is at the forefront of all activities on siteProfileKey Skills & Experience* Background working in 3PL environment, ideally with experience of managing multiple clients* Operational background with good understanding of warehouse operations* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal* Ability to remain calm under pressure, and influence at all levels* Commercially focused, able to bring new ideas and initiatives to customers* Financial acumen with budgetary responsibility/ awareness* Computer literate with excellent Microsoft Office skills* Strong presentation and reporting skillsJob Offer£45000 to £50000 depending on experience
