Job Description

Export Co-ordinatorStoke-on-Trent£20,000 - £25,000 DOE + BenefitsRole ProfileOur client is a market leading Logistics business who are looking to expand their Export team within their growing operation based in Stoke-on-Trent. Reporting to the Customs Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that operational Export regulations are always adhered to.Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients, overseas agents and internal departments
  • Completion of export customs entries
  • Liaising with exporters and internal operational colleagues to obtain mandatory information for export entries
  • Be fully conversant with export Customs regulations, whilst keeping up to date with changes as they occur
  • Preparation of necessary import/export documentation, including T-documents, EUR1s, Certificates of Origin, CVED and other cargo control documents
    • Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience working in a similar role is advantageous
  • Have a good understanding of Customs legal requirements and the impact or incorrect information and/or Customs declarations
  • Work in a fast-paced environment ensuring clearance processes are completed in a complaint and timely manner
  • Excellent numerical skills are essential due to the calculation of VAT and Duty on behalf of HMRC
