A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join a profitable provider of printed folded cartons and gift packaging to some well-known names in the retail sector.BASIC SALARY: £50,000 - £55,000BENEFITS:· OTE £55,000-£60,000 · Company Car/ Car Allowance · Mobile · Expenses · Contributory Pension · 20 Days Holiday + StatsLOCATION: LeicesterCOMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Leeds, Manchester, London, Bristol, Norwich, Stoke, NottinghamJOB DESCRIPTION: Business Development Manager - PackagingDue to current company growth, projected growth plans, and the number of opportunities that have arisen in new markets, we are now seeking a proven Business Development Manager who will ensure the efficient management of new customers and business opportunities.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Development Manager - Packaging· Be responsible for negotiation of price movements of all packaging solutions and services. · Be skilled at identifying, quantifying and proposing a plan to gain additional business from new customers and demonstrate the ability to network through clients. · Drive high profit margin and ROI: achieve margin improvement with mix of products · Ensure a professional line is presented at all times managing customer expectations as appropriate in line with the business priorities. · Manage the total cost of servicing the account, including the hidden costs. · Ensure that the customers SLA is deliveredPERSON SPECIFICATION: Business Development Manager - Packaging· A proven track record of success in a face to face sales role from the packaging industry · Knowledge of the printed folded carton or gift packaging sector is essential. · Ideally you will have experience of selling to the gift, alcohol, confectionery or beauty and cosmetic sectors · Commercially astute and consultative approach to selling. · Excellent relationship building and communication skills. · Strong influencing skills with experience of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. · Proven track record in developing new and existing accounts.
