Our core client base consists of Accountancy Practices ranging from Big 4, Top 10 & Mid-Tier firms through to independent regional firms and sole traders.Accounts & Audit Semi SeniorStoke on Trent Circa £20,000 - £25,000 (Dependent on Experience)Specialist Accountancy practice recruitment consultancy Clark Wood are working with a distinguished and well-renowned firm of chartered accountants in Stoke on Trent who are keen to add an ambitious Accounts & Audit Semi Senior to join their growing team.The ideal individual will have varied general practice experience, including experience of assisting on Audit assignments on a variety of clients, and will hold either the AAT qualification or may have begun studying towards the ACA / ACCA qualifications.As an Accounts & Audit Semi Senior your role will involve a mixture of accounts, tax and audit work and you will gain exposure to a diverse client base including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships from a variety of industry sectors.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is keen to develop their career within a forward-thinking and well-respected firm in Stoke on Trent. There will be genuine prospects for career development with the successful person progressing into a senior role within the firm.Duties & Responsibilities:Preparation of company accounts and corporation tax returnsPreparation of accounts for sole traders, and partnershipsAssist in the preparation of the audit plan and ensures it appropriately addresses audit objectivesAssist senior team members with the completion of audit assignments, playing an active role in carrying out the assignment at client premisesSkills:ACA / ACCA Part QualifiedAAT Qualified also consideredExperience of working with Owner Managed BusinessExperience of assisting on audit assignmentsFor further information on this role please contact Jack Wyatt at Clark Wood
