Job Description

Are you an experienced C# Developer Do you have experience of carrying out Software Development Maintenance Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Permanent Software Developer, working for an established business that supply truck & trailer parts, car & van parts, lubricants and consumables along with refinish products from a range of suppliers and OE brands. This role is a mix of working from home and working in our clients branch in Stockton-on-Tees. Software Developer Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To join our clients team to support existing software programs and to design and build new applications. You will have a strong understanding of the C# programming language and experience of working with desktop and web applications and business software programming
  • The role will involve user facing software support, software design and development using C# and PostgreSQL relational database and exposing business data and logic using Microsoft Azure Service Bus technologies
  • Design, development and testing of new features in the applications
  • Responsible for regular communication with others involved in the development process
  • Implement, test, and bug-fix functionality
  • Responsibility for design and implementation of software projects using C#
  • Provide support to end users
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable C# code
    • Software Developer Applicants:Essential:
  • Must be proficient in C#
  • Be familiar with Relational Databases and SQL
  • Strong in Object Oriented Programming, MVC and Design Patterns
  • Good time-management skills
  • Work as both a team player and an individual
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills
    • Desirable:
  • Understanding of business functions such as order processing and financial accounting procedures
  • Understanding of legacy procedural languages
  • Independently motivated and goal driven
  • Customer service experience
  • Educated to Degree Level in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
