Job Description

I am delighted to be partnering with my client based in the Teesside area who due to new project wins and company development, are looking to appoint a number of Project Managers to focus on Renewable and Oil & Gas projects.If you are driven, committed, have a strong customer focus and excellent attention to detail this could be an excellent opportunity for you. With excellent company benefits and flexible working on offer.You will be involved in multiple projects ranging from £0.5million to £40million ensuring that there is full cradle to grave coverage, being that key point of contact for customers and driving teams together to ensure projects are delivered ontime and withinbudget.Job Description of a Project Manager

  • Responsible to achieve required project margin, on time delivery and customer satisfaction
  • To be the main point of contact for customers and provide extensive reporting to customers
  • Leads commercial/contractual management and administration making sure the contract is strictly followed.
  • Leads the Project Team with regular liaison and communication with the team members
  • Leads the management of the project plan - drives documentation submissions and approvals, liaison with supply chain
  • Leads management and mitigation of project risks
  • Achieve invoicing milestones including raising payment applications for customer approval
  • Leading project review meetings
  • Possible line management responsibility.
Skills required of a Project Manager
  • Minimum HNC mechanical or electrical engineering
  • A recognised qualification in Project Management would be ideal such as Prince2, APM
  • Extensive previous experience within Project Management ideally from the Oil & Gas, Renewables industry
  • Experienced in the commercial/financial side of Project Management
