Our international manufacturing client based in Stillington is looking for a number of Production or Fork Lift Operators to join them initially on a temporary basis.Job RoleTo ensure all processing is undertaken to customer and company requirementsReceive customer goods for treatmentTake primary responsibility for the operation of furnace and other equipment within all departmentsEnsure all quality procedures are followed with regard to the recording of in process informationDeal with customers who are collecting goods and ensure all paperwork is produced and correctly completed prior to despatchEnsure any equipment malfunctions are reported in a timely fashion using the correct company proceduresUndertake any other reasonable tasks that may from time to time be requiredSkills/ExperienceExperience in an industrial environment preferredGood attention to detail and accurate working requiredExcellent communication skillsBasic numeracy and literacy and IT competenceFork Lift Truck License and Overhead Crane Certificate preferred but not essentialThe role is working a 3-shift pattern, working a week of each shifts.Monday to Thursday either 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6amFriday is 6am-11am, 11am-4pm and 4pm-9pmThe role has the potential to become a permanent opportunity!
