Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a Lead Electrical Engineer position for a Global business in the Middlesbrough area.This is a great opportunity for someone with an extensive background of working within either a Hazardous industries or Chemical industry.   • Site compliance with UK Legislation and Venator EHS and engineering procedures regarding electrical equipment and work activities
  • Proactively work with plant electrical engineering teams to develop their preventive maintenance techniques to improve equipment reliability
  • Continuously developing and improving professional engineering standards on the site
  • Leading electrical continuous improvement activities for both central and plant assets
  • Provide electrical technical support and guidance to the area I/E Engineers and Technicians, leading unusual or complex fault diagnosis.
  • Implementing a site wide plan to ensure competence for all electrical engineering personnel utilised on the site. Carry out coaching and mentoring activities as appropriate.
  • Lead FEED studies and act as a project Electrical Engineer on electrical CAPEX projects where appropriate and liaise with the Central Projects Team setting the required site standards for larger projects.
    • Skills & experienceof an Electrical Engineer
  • Degree Qualified or Chartered
  • Experience with HV
  • Extensive previous electrical engineering experience
  • The role requires both HV and LV experience up to and including 11 kV networks
  • You must have previous experience of working within hazardous or chemical industries
