Job Description

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join a well-established company based in Stockton-on-TeesThe CompanyThey have been installing security systems for over 28 years within the domestic, Commercial/Industrial sector and across town centres. They pride themselves on providing a first-class service to each of their customers.As a Security & Fire Systems Installation/Maintenance Engineer, you will be expected to carry out Installation of the following;

  • CCTV
  • Access Control
  • Intruder Alarms
  • Fire Alarms
Manufacturer specific experience is not essential as all training can be provided.Call out is required when fully trained and competent.In addition to installations, you will be required to carry out maintenance & repairs to client systems, testing and servicing a range of security and fire equipment - CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Fire Alarms.Candidate Requirements
  • You will have experience in installation and upgrading of client systems as well as fault finding ability
  • Minimum of 3 years working within the Security & Fire systems industry is essential
  • NVQs and general vocational qualifications within the Electronic / Electrical skill set is desirable but not essential
  • A current, clean driving licence is essential
  • Excellent people skills, high quality standards and customer focused with the ability to work independently and as a team
  • Good communication skills to with work colleagues and provide clear and accurate information, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety codes and regulations is essential
  • Customer focused
  • Ability to work flexible working hours, travel to and from a range of locations which will involve overnight stays
  • Basic IT skills including an understanding of networks is preferred
