Job Description

Your new role:A great opportunity to join a global business and work as part of the commercial finance business team. Working as a key member of the finance team and the wider business, you will be responsible for the financial review of sales proposals and legal contracts,producing forecasting covering sales and margin for business segments and monitoring profitability of sales. The focus will be supporting the UK site.Duties and responsibilities

  • Being responsible for the review and sign off of sales proposals, contract, change orders and master services agreements ensuring they are tracked for review and follow the correct approval process. Also review for revenue recognition, profitability andcashflow implications.
  • Maintain and update the price mode4ls used to assess the profitability of proposals, contracts and change orders. This includes an annual review of cost and charge out rates for R&D and manufacturing assets based on FTEs and asset occupancy.
  • Proactively build and maintain effective relationships with the global comme5rciqal sales team and programme management providing finance support and insight as required.
  • Supporting the commercial team with financial modelling of commercial pricing and cost of goods analysis.
  • Responsible for the tracking signed contracts for the site and ensuring they are captured in the sales forecast.
  • Provide support to the Senior Commercial Finance BP for new business ventures and expansion projects as required, e.g cashflow and payback models.
  • Prepare data for review at the global pricing review.
  • Responsible for tracking and implementing any inflationary clauses in contracts.
  • Deal with internal and external audit queries and also provide audit evidence for contracts and revenue recognition as required.
  • Review and agreement of inter-company sales agreements.
  • Becoming a finance expert on revenue recognition ensuring adherence to USGAAP and IFRS15 for all sales contracts.
You will be/have
  • CIMA/ACCA or ACA qualified with a minimum of 3 years experience in a business partnering role.
  • Excellent commercial judgement and ideally have experience in a previous finance role and contract review experience.
  • Strong team player and excellent Excel skills
