Job Description

Office & Finance Administrator (permanent)Hours of Work 08:30 - 16:30Remuneration £15-19k p.a. + Bonus + PensionLocation Head Office, Stocksfield HallKelly are supporting a leading organisation who are looking for a highly motivated Office & Finance Administrator to join their growing team. They are looking for someone who has experience of managing office processes, IT literate, Ideally have basic experiencewithin accounts and is keen to learn and develop in the roleThis is a hi-tech product company who develop world-leading security and counter terrorism products. They have developed award winning and innovative drone capture and autonomous optical detection and tracking technologiesTheir office is located at a beautiful rural site in the Tyne Valley. Lunch is provided to the whole team every day and flexible working is available.Job Purpose

  • To manage the day to day running of the office
  • To perform administrative functions, including:
    • Manage the office & canteen
    • Coordinate office activities to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies
    • Manage stock of office supplies
    • Manage phone calls & correspondence
  • To perform financial administration functions, including:
    • Process purchase invoices, expenses & credit cards
    • Analyze Key Performance Indicators
    • Perform bank reconciliations
    • Ensure records & data systems are correct and up to date
  • Work with the finance team to ensure monthly and quarterly reports are completed
  • To provide support as required to the team
    • Welcome & look after visitors
    • Book travel and assist in managing events & demonstrations
Skills Required
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, in particular Excel is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
  • Be able to manage your time and prioritise your workload
  • Able to work to the highest standards with acute attention to detail
Personal Specification
  • Positive and proactive attitude, highly personable with a mature personality
  • Strong team-worker with the ability to thrive in a small, closely-knit and dedicated team
  • Detail orientated with excellent organizational skills
  • Flexibility - being prepared to work longer hours when occasionally required
  • Self-motivated and with the ability to work unsupervised
Experience Required
  • Experience of financial administration functions is desirable
  • Experience of payroll & HR is desirable
Education and Qualifications
  • Valid driving license is preferred
  • Qualification in office administration or finance or relevant field is preferred
