Permanent, Part Time (2.5 days per week)Juniper is an independent established training provider who have been assisting young people to move forward and achieve for 35 years. Delivering Traineeships, Study Programmes and Apprenticeships we help young people across the country to take positivesteps forward in their lives.As a Trainer / Assessor, you will deliver engaging and effective training sessions to groups of apprentices as well as on a one-to-one basis. Planning and facilitating schemes of work, you will ensure that the training you deliver is inspiring and meetsthe criteria and standards for apprenticeships. You will also teach English and Maths Functional Skills up to Level 2.The Assessing side of the role means youll conduct and use initial assessment effectively and set apprentices appropriate, but challenging, targets and goals. Youll assess apprentices portfolios and provide regular supporting, development feedback.Were looking for an individual who has a positive, bubbly and engaging personality and who can successfully deliver training sessions in group settings and on a one-to-one basis. With a good understanding of Apprenticeship programmes, you will be able tobuild rapport with target groups and retain their attention during training sessions. Highly motivated and able to work well under pressure, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to assess work and complete observationsagainst standards and criteria.If successful in this post, you will be required to gain a Level 3 teaching qualification and a Level 3 qualification in English and/or Maths within six months of your appointment if you do not already hold these.A full UK driving licence and access to a car is also essential.The welfare of our students is paramount therefore the successful candidate will be subject to a DBS check.
