Job Description

Temporary Logistics Administrator (3-6 months)Stockport £ CompetitiveRole ProfileI am currently recruiting a Logistics Administrator to support a Stockport based business during a busy period of change.This role will suit candidates who have excellent administration and organisational skills with experience of liaising with external suppliers on a daily basis.If you are immediately available and looking for opportunities in the Stockport area, this could be a great opportunity to join a highly successful business and make an immediate difference by supporting the existing team.Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Supply Chain and Logistics team with a range of administrative tasks
  • Contacting external suppliers to coordinate the collection of required export documentation, including Country of Origin and HS Tariff Codes
  • Maintaining freight and shipping documentation
  • Acting as the main point of contact for supplier queries
  • Using SAP to record required documentation and certification
  • Skills and ExperienceThe successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, supporting Procurement, Supply Chain or Logistics teams
  • Strong communication skills and confident telephone manner
  • Excellent administration skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ideally candidates will also have:
  • Knowledge of Import/Export documentation such as Country of Origin certificates and HS Tariff Codes
  • Working knowledge of SAP
