Job Description

Service Desk Engineer– Stockport – Up to £24kWindows, Apple, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNSThis well-established organisation requires a driven and self-motivatedIT Support Engineerto join their busy technical services team and motivate those around them. The key to this role is providing first class support to managed services customers. TheITSupport Engineerwill perform resolving incidents, product upgrades and proactive support.The current vacancy is for an innovative IT solutions organisation who are looking for a Service Desk Engineer to provide specialist support. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in similar roles.You will be providing support overthe phone and in person. You will be monitoring and manages customer systems and creating and updated project documentation.Key requirements

  • Excellent 1st and 2nd line experience support Apple and Windows desktop operating systems
  • Knowledge of MS suite of products and Windows Server installation and administration
  • File server management and understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Active Directory administration, O365, Azure and Scripting
  • Internal and Public DNS troubleshooting
  • Hyper-V, TCP/IP, and firewall experience are desirable
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
