Job Description

Service Charge - Client Accountant (Property Sector) / Permanent Role / Stockport - Cheshire / Salary £38,000 - £45,000 + Benefits + Bonus + Hybrid Working + Free Parking/ Excellent Opportunity Not to Be Missed!NC Associates are working on an exclusive basis with a long established and forward thinking property business which are looking to recruit a Service Charge Accountant to work closely with the property surveyors and senior management team. As a ServiceCharge Accountant you will be essential in delivering robust financial information alongside the rest of the finance teamResponsibilities to include:

  • Completion of Industrials service charge reconciliations Service Charge Audit Journal Adjustments
  • Maintain Service Charge Budget tracker
  • Maintain customer on accounts and apportionments Ensure RICS best practice guidelines are achieved Monitor Budget v’s Expenditure
  • Monitor void liabilities
  • Process customer balancing charges and supporting documents Monitor Cashflow/funding
  • Customer query resolution
  • Develop and maintain active communication both with the Property Accounts Team and all internal departments
Experience Required
  • Proven Service Charge Reconciliation experience RICS guidelines
  • Strong communication and organisational skills strong time management skills
  • Analytical Skills
  • Knowledge of business processes and procedures
  • Self-motivated A pro-active attitude to conduct frequent face-to-face customer meetings Strong attention to detail
