Job Description

Mechanical Services Manager£50,000-£60,000 + Full Benefits + Car Allowance - StockportProbably one of the best M&E Contractor to work for in the North West!M & E Contractor are due to a recent acquisition of a firm now looking for a Mechanical Services Manager to head up the reformed division of the business, employing over 60 staff and with over 50 years in the industry, the role will be given autonomy to lead the team and will include client development, the recruitment of staff and the leading of key projects across the North West.Key responsibilities of the Mechanical Services Manager role will include:

  • The Management of all Mechanical Projects including working closely with the contract and project management team ensuring deadlines are met and regular TEAMS meetings are carried out with the commercial customers.
  • Supporting the Bid and Design team when putting together new quotes both at the pre-design and delivery stage.
  • Supporting the delivery team mainly from the office but also on site when required in order to fully understand the project needs and help resolve issues in a timely fashion.
  • Working closely with all sub-contractors ensuring standards are maintained and resources/materials are readily available.
    • Key experience required:
  • Extensive experience from the Mechanical Engineering/Services sector including a thorough understanding of all building, gas, water and electrical regulations.
  • Track record in Project and Contract Management working independently and leading teams whether directly or through a middle management team.
  • Hold a range of qualifications including Health and Safety.
  • Project experience across the North West, which may in the future include client relationships you can use.
