Ford & Stanley Talentwise are looking for motivated, versatile, process driven individuals with strong IT skills who are keen to pursue a position within supply chain and warehousing. Working with CAF Railin their state-of-the-art Central Stores facility in Stockport, to ensure the timely delivery of various parts and equipment for train maintenance contracts within the UK Rail Industry.The OpportunityCAF are looking to grow their warehousing team with the addition of a Materials Controller who plays a pivotal role in ensuring parts are supplied to depots on time, preventing trains being out of service longer than is required.We are looking for someone who can quickly pick up and learn new IT systems (this is a bespoke system, so will likely be new to anyone who joins), and is able to complete various manual handling tasks, which could include using forklift vehicles. (Trainingwill be provided).The Central Stores team are very process driven and as such, you will need to be able to follow a specific process list, but be warned, things can change very quickly so versatility and the ability to change tasks quickly is a must.Location (s): Stockport.Role and Responsibilities:
