JOB ROLE: Print Supervisor - Large Format / SignageSALARY: £25K-£28K depending on experienceSHIFT - Monday - Friday (need someone that can be flexible on shift patterns)LOCATION: Stockport My client, an established Large Format and Signage company based in Stockport, are seeking a Large Format Print Supervisor to join their ever-growing team! They require somebody with an excellent working knowledge of print production processes and excellent man management skills. Lean management experience is also desired.The role as a Print Supervisor:* The Print Supervisor will be tasked with managing the whole process, from brief to delivery* Managing a team of 5, as well as being very hands on with the Printers and Finishing Equipment* Hands on Operating Large Format equipment which consists of Large Format Printers such as Vutek and HPs, Zund and Kongsberg Cutters, Mounting, Laminating, Hand Finishing etc.* Create and manage print production schedules.* Organise, control and monitor the flow of projects ensuring quality is maintained.* Examine finished samples and approve quality before delivery to client.* Write accurate technical specifications that reflect client goals, requirements, scheduling & budget restraints.* Support the day to day running of the production department.* Send estimate requests to printers and follow up.A Production Supervisor will possess:* Must have previous experience running a print production department, hands on with running the Large Format Printers (Vutek, HP) and Finishing Equipment - Zund or Konsgberg Cutters, Laminating and Mounting machinery as well as Hand Finishing* Experience running a shift - responsibility managing a team of 5 as well as Operating the equipment.* Confident communicator.* Excellent team work and able to step up into a team leader position.* Knowledge of print production processes.* Strong technical knowledge would be an advantage.If you are interested in the role, please apply or contact Jo Torrie:KEY WORDS: Production Manager, Print Production, Manager, Printer, Large Format, Wide Format, Printing, Large Format Printing, Digital Print, Signage, Sign, Sign Making, Vutek, Mimaki, Large Format Printers
