Our client is a market leader in Marketing and Communications and provides a wide range of services to key clients including Government, Financial Institutions and leading global brands.They are currently recruiting for an International Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their 21 strong finance team based in Cheadle, but with flexible working arrangements. The role of International Purchase Ledger Clerk will offer a broad range of experience, exposure and responsibility, whilst requiring someone to be able to get into the detail to ensure accuracy. Key responsibilities:* Supplier relationship management across the EU, North America & APAC* Raise weekly payment runs (BACS, CHAPS, SEPA)* Post journals for ad-hoc supplier payments* Liaise with all departments to resolve supplier invoice & PO queries.* Match, batch and post circa 150 invoices per week* Work collaboratively across all finance functions* Data entry to ensure that the system information is up to date* Participate in identifying trends, providing root cause analysis and execution on recommendations* Partner with key international stakeholders to provide insightful information* Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as and when requiredSkills required:* Experience in purchase ledger* Comfortable with multi-currency (USD, EUR, CHF, KR etc.)* Excellent excel and analytical skills* Well organised to ensure monthly deadlines are met* Strong communication skills* Hard working and self-motivated* Methodical and high attention to detailDesirable Experience / Qualifications:* Has experience with a SME / privately owned business* Previous experience working in manufacturing or logistics* Has knowledge of Sage 200/X3This is an exciting opportunity that will best suit a hands-on person who is hungry for a challenge.
