Our client, a high growth US owned manufacturer who have recently benefited from a significant investment and are undergoing a major transformation project, are on the hunt for a technically brilliant Newly Qualified/Near Qualified Financial Accountant with a hunger to progress and develop within a highly supportive team. This highly-visible role will see the successful candidate working closely with the UK Financial Controller, offering them an opportunity to develop their commercial skill and to get involved in a number of major projects that are currently in the pipeline. This role would also suit applicants who are pro-active, highly motivated and analytically minded with effective communication skills and the ability to forge strong working relationships at all levels.The client sees this role as an opportunity to develop, and as such they are equally interested in candidates who have trained and developed within industry as they are in first time movers from Practice. Key Responsibilities- Oversee the Financial Accounts with reviews of periodic P&Ls, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Financial Reporting, along with Cash Flow Management- Month end close - Prepare/review half year and full year financial statements together with related information- Ensure integrity of accounting records of legal entities - Statutory accounting- Tax & VAT Preparation- Support with the identification and implementation of new processes (Process improvement)- Support external audit- Assistance on projects as requiredYou will be:- Fully Qualified, or Near Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) from Practice or Industry- If Industry trained, a manufacturing background would be beneficial- Previous experience with an ERP would be beneficial (Oracle, SAP etc) - Proactive and self-motivated - Organised, yet flexible
