This is an exciting time to join the company as they have recently launched a new patentedproduct to market which will allow them to enter a new space and sector, allowing them to continue building on the success they have already enjoyed over the years. This is a family owned business with real ambition and drive to take this business to the next level and they are looking for an intelligent and aspiring Qualified Finance Manager to join them on their journey and help them get there. Reporting straight into the Managing Director, who joined them just 18 months ago, you will be responsible for a leading a team of 4; Management Accountant, Assistant Accountant, AP Clerk and an AR/ Export Clerk. The successful Finance Manager will be responsiblefor providing timely and accurate financial information along with commercial analysis and insight to aid business strategy.This will be a varied and highly commercial, visible role with duties & responsibilities to include: -- Take ownership of the Finance Team and Strategy- Production of monthly management accounts- Budgeting and Forecasting - Providing analysis and delivery of sound, up to date and accurate financial information to help with setting both long and short-term objectives for the business- Take ownership of monthly cashflow control and forecasting- Take a lead on evolving the new ERP system (NAV) that will allow greater visibility within areas such as operations, purchasing, pricing, costing and new product development- Manage and develop the team around you to ensure team members are empowered, motivated and challenged within their roles- Develop strong relationships with senior management and beyond throughout the business and build a reputation for the finance team as a value-add function- Investigate pioneering, best-practice finance functions, tools and processes and implement where best suited for the department - Source and engage outside support and manage the auditing processExperience & skills required:- CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified (or equivalent)- Team leadership experience - Ability to influence senior stakeholders- Pro-active - Good problem-solver - Strong communication skills - Ability to prioritise workloads to ensure both short and long term goals are metThe company offers excellent benefits including: - - Competitive base salary - Car Allowance of £6600 p.a - 25 Days Holiday (+ Bank Holidays) - Company Pension Scheme 5%-12% - Holiday Purchase Scheme - 7.5x Salary Life insurance - Private Health Care - Health Cash Plan - Flexi-Time and Working from homeThe company are looking for someone who keen to continue progressing their career in a supportive yet challenging environment and their is every possibility this role may lead to that of Finance Director in the future.
