Job Description

Job Title: Domestic CleanerLocation: Stepping Hill Hospital, Poplar Grove Street, Stockport, SK2 7JEShift Pattern: Flexible hoursPay: £11.45 per hourTrust Location: Stockport NHS Foundation TrustAbout the trust: We are no ordinary trust. We hold a unique position in the Stockport community as the provider of healthcare and we are one of its largest employers. We are an integrated provider of acute hospital and community services to the people of Stockport, as wellserving the populations of East Cheshire and the High Peak in North Derbyshire.What youll be responsible for:

  • To assist in general cleaning of the hospital wards and other clinical areas.
  • To ensure infection control policies are adhered to which ensures we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness.
  • Responsible for the safe use of cleaning equipment
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.Youll have the following skills/experience:
  • Experience in a domestic/ similar role
  • Experience in using scrubber dryer floor machines
  • Knowledge of methods of cleaning including colour coding
  • Excellent customer service
  • NHS Experience- desirable not essential
  • Reliable and hard working
