Job titleCopywriter / Content Writer - TechnicalLocationStockportSalary£23,000 - £25,000Benefits20 days holiday plus stats, pension, flexible working, office snack and drinksPerson DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have solid experience within PR and marketing. You will have excellent content and copywriting skills and be very comfortable managing client stakeholders and projects.You will want to work in an open, relaxed and inclusive environment and within a team that ensures, everyone feels valued and supportedDuties will include:Regularly liaising with clients to keep them up to date regarding campaign progress, obtain approvals of work and providing general consultancy and PR support.Creating written content in line with project and/or campaign needs for a wide range of platforms and audiences. This will include:

  • Technical articles and guides
  • Thought leadership pieces
  • Web optimised content (for blogs and general web copy)
  • Case studies to press releases
Working with clients and Account Directors to identify campaign KPIs.Carrying out measurement and reporting activities.Carrying out research to support the development of informed and relevant content and campaign plans.Creating proposals for new and existing clients.Pitching proposals to clients.Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of PR and marketing principles and specifically how to apply them in practice within the construction industry.Skills and requirements:
  • Some experience of client-facing account management.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Experience of carrying out measurement, evaluation and reporting against KPIs.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Ability to write for a wide range of audiences, platforms and purposes.
  • Understanding of key elements of campaign strategy.
  • Excellent at maintaining positive and effective professional relationships with clients.
  • Confident in using Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills and the ability to cope with several projects at once.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - both written and verbally.
  • Independent but enjoy working in a team and have a flexible approach to working.
  • Adaptable and enthusiastic
