Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Cloud DevOps Architect to join our team in Stockport. You will join us on a full-time basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus excellent benefits.TheCloud DevOps Architect Role:You will provide technical and architectural consultancy in support of CDL products operating in public, private or hybrid cloud environments, assist with design, implementation, development, troubleshooting, problem resolution and service maintenance. Providepre-sales advice and guidance to clients for configuration and integration to meet business requirements.Lead technical design, evaluation and integration of CDL products and services. Provide input to processes to that systems are designed based on automation, ensure scalability, security and manageability of CDL services. Provide consultancy and guidanceon automation, resilience and high availability scenarios of CDL software and services.The ideal Cloud DevOps Architect will have:

  • Educated to HNC/HND level standard in a vocational qualification in an IT related subject
  • Extensive knowledge of public cloud platforms, AWS is preferable
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code and automation approaches
  • Knowledge of operating systems, Windows/Linux
  • Knowledge of hardware, systems, networking and security (experience of standards based compliant environments such as PCI-DSS preferable)
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and automation of application lifecycle, pipelines and processes
  • Experience of providing technical advice to clients, colleagues and non-technical people
