You will responsible the planning, design, construction and maintenance of physical infrastructures; ensures compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations.You will be leading and assisting with the preparation of documentation relating to projects and engaging with and developing good working relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including Network Rail / local authorities / Tier 1 contractors clients and other disciplinesResponsibilities Guide

Check and approval of technical work by the design team

Mange delivery teams

Act as Contractors Responsible Engineer (CRE) - Design

Help to develop the production of drawings, reports and specifications

Produce scope and supervise surveys on site.

Input to and preparation of bids and proposals

Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team.

Becoming familiar and compliant with relevant Health, Safety and Welfare regulations and to promote Capitas SHEW culture within your team

Essential Qualifications/Experience/Skills

Lineside civils works

Platform and canopy design

Gantry and foundation designs

Rock cutting stabilisations works

Bridge design, refurbishment and strengthening schemes

Completing design submissions in accordance NR/L2/CIV/003 (F001-003)

Cat 3 checking of third-party designs

UTX/URX design
