They aim to provide comfortable and affordable homes and engage customers and communities.They’re currently recruiting a Building Surveyor to provide a specialist technical support service, to work closely with a range of stakeholders including expert witnesses, liaising with in-house contractors, subcontractors to deliver a wide range of repairsservices.The key purpose of this position is to deal with disrepair claims as well as project managing specialist works. You will be required to work on a range of property types, carrying out intrusive surveys and specialist testing to enable accurate diagnosisof building defects and failures. Additionally, there will be a requirement to attend court to act as an Expert Witness on their behalf.As the Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out in-depth surveys utilising specialist equipment and project managing remedial works including site visits and audit inspections to ensure that specifications and quality standards are compliedwith. You will obtain accurate and detailed information about necessary repairs / improvements to properties and undertake a range of surveys and have due regard to the priority need for the work and budgetary constraints.Our ideal candidate will have:
